Hiram King "Hank" Williams, Sr. (September 17, 1923 - January 1, 1953) was an American singer-songwriter, best known for such hits as "Hey, Good Lookin'", "Honky Tonkin'", "Your Cheatin' Heart", and "Move It on Over".

Hank, Sr. struggled with achoholism the majority of his short life, and he died of alcohol poisoning on January 1, 1953 in Oak Hill, West Virginia (aged 29). He was interred at the Oakwood Annex in Montgomery, Alabama.
